what we choose to carry and what we lay down, will depend on our willingness to face our grief and let in hope.
Our willingness to face our pain – even if it’s just for one moment at a time, is a step toward a lighter bag, a bag that we all carry everyday. And a step toward beauty. When I paint, my intentions is toward holding sorrow and beauty at the same time as well as making my bag lighter.
