Coming to quiet. It, also means giving myself time and energy to let my mind wonder. Whether it’s painting and or watching my pets. I believe one needs room – maybe a decision needs to be made or you’re tired and taking time to rest and restore is the most you can do that moment.
As Lao Tzu reminds us that;
and Rumi shares the importance of quiet.
For me the journey toward finding clarity isn’t always an easy one. I sometimes choose to use my brushes and practice being quiet.
The definition of clarity is clearness and freedom from ambiguity.
To find clarity life may be muddy for a while.
The journey to make my way, at first took me away from my home, but then lead me back to where I started. Which may not be the physical place I started from but the hope is that I have come back to myself and have gained wisdom along the way.

Being still, listening, and still listening. Staying with the pain that has been passed down and learning how to hold the space. Finding the precise balance between life’s daily heartbreaks and happinesses. The surest way to these things is to practice coming back to stillness daily.
